Prague Rainbow Spring is an international multisport event in Prague, including a Volleyball Tournament, a Swimming competition, a Golf tournament, a Squash tournament, and a Rowing Fun Ride 🚣🏻. This tournament is dedicated to all of our international friends and the global 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

Preliminary information for the 2026 EVENT
Swimming
The tournament will take place at AQUACENTRE ŠUTKA, located at Čimická 848/41, 182 00 Praha 8, on Saturday. The first races will begin at 11:59 a.m., and the swimming pool will open at 11:00 a.m. Throughout the day, refreshments and meals are available. Swimmers and supporters are both welcome! Swimming order: 1. 100m freestyle, 2. 200m breaststroke, 3. 100m backstroke, 4. 50m butterfly, 5. 400m freestyle, 6. 50m breaststroke, 7. 4x50m medley relay Men. ::BREAK:: 8. 50m freestyle, 9. 100m breaststroke, 10. 200m medley, 11. 100m butterfly, 12. 200m freestyle, 13. 50m backstroke, 14. 4x50m freestyle relay Men.
The Golf Tournament
The tournament will take place at Golf Resort Black Bridge, Národních hrdinů 891, 190 12, Prague 9 – Dolní Počernice, on Saturday, 2nd of May. Refreshments and meals are available throughout the day. Lovely golfing day: Tee-off, Special Contests: Longest Drive & Nearest to the Pin.
The Rowing Fun
A celebration of the joy of rowing, open to everyone who would like to experience non-professional racing in the centre of Prague. Whether you’re an experienced amateur or training regularly with your team, this event is for you. Brunch is included.
The Squash Tournament
The squash tournament ( Level A: Advanced/professional players, Level B: Advanced recreational players, Level C: Recreational players, Level D: Beginners) will take place at SB Centrum, address K Horkám 2284/1. There will be a preliminary round and a knockout round. Refreshments and meals are available throughout the day.
Volleybal
The volleyball tournament (Top ~B+, Middle ~B-, and Gorgeos ~C/D group) will be held in the Juliska Sports Centre, located at Pod Juliskou 4, 160 00 Praha 6. The first match starts at 9:00. Refreshments and meals will be available throughout the day. Both players and spectators were welcome! Prices are the same: 50/10 € for a player or a supporter.
Important note: When registration opens, many teams sign up right away—but some don’t pay on time and lose their spot. That’s where the reserve list comes in! Every year, about 3 teams from levels B and C drop out by December. If you’re on the reserve list, you could be next in line to join. Don’t miss your chance—sign up now! ❤️

Registration

Swimming
The tournament will take place at AQUACENTRE ŠUTKA, located at Čimická 848/41, 182 00 Praha 8, on Saturday. The first matches will start at 11:59 AM, and the swimming pool will be available from 11:00 AM. If you decide to go by public transport (20 minutes from the city center to the northern area of Prague), the best way to reach it is by the C line (Red) metro to the “Kobylisy” station, then switch to buses 152 or 177 to the stop “Cimicky haj”. You can park your car for free in front of the venue. The award ceremony will take place right after each category, but it’s worth staying till the end to cheer for other swimmers and enjoy the great atmosphere. Show support to our friends. There will be six swimming lanes.
The Volleyball Tournament
The 2026 tournament will take place in the volleyball hall of the Juliska Sports Centre, at Pod Juliskou 4, 160 00 Praha 6, on Saturday. The first matches will start at 9:00 am, and the hall will be available from 8:30 am. If you decide to go by public transport, the best way to reach it is by subway line A (green) to the “Dejvická” stop and switch to buses 107 or 147 to the stop “Podbaba”. Or you can catch tram no. 8 to the station “Podbaba”. From there, it is a 5-minute walk. The award ceremony with special surprise categories will take place right after the matches in the hall, so it will also be worth staying till the end, cheering for other teams, and enjoying the great atmosphere. There will be five playgrounds; for levels A and B, we have also secured licensed referees. With that, and thanks to your participation, we believe we can again organize the biggest and gayest volleyball tournament in Central and Eastern Europe and spread love and compassion to the troubled east. Get excited, bring your best game, the fiercest cheers, and may the best team WIN! The Early Bird Price is only available until the end of December 2025.
The Squash Tournament

Golf
The 4th Czech Rainbow Golf 2026 Open, building on the success of our first event in 2024, took place at the beautiful Golf Resort Black Bridge, with picturesque surroundings and a friendly atmosphere. The Czech Rainbow Golf Open is open to all rainbow golfers, welcoming players of all skill levels. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a casual enthusiast, come and be a part of this celebration of the sport we love.

The Winning Ceremony was held at the Clubhouse (Golf resort) after the tournament concluded. Transportation: If you’re coming from the city center, taking a taxi to the golf course is a convenient and easy option. Enjoy a hassle-free journey to the event. It is possible to take public transportation (Metro B). Facilities: Golf Resort Black Bridge offers top-notch facilities, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all participants. From well-maintained courses to fantastic amenities, we’ve got everything you need for a memorable day of golf.
Rowing
A day of rowing, friendship, and fun on the Vltava River!
The race will take place on Friday, May 1st, 2026, from 9:00 am (registration) until 12:00 pm, followed by brunch. Racing categories: Double sculls (2x) and Quadruple sculls (4x). Location: VK Slavia Praha — right in the center of Prague.
Participants register individually and indicate their team name, if they have one. Crews for 2x and 4x boats are confirmed during registration. If you register individually and don’t yet have a partner or crew, we will help complete your boat during on-site registration. Crews may have any gender composition.
Entry fee: 8 EUR / 200 CZK + 6 EUR / 150 CZK per seat for boat rental (VK Slavia members and Prague club rowers are exempt from the boat rental fee.)

- Double Sculls Regatta — 500 m
- Quadruple Sculls Race — 1000 m
- Non-competitive rides
If there is enough interest, we can also organize:
- a rowers’ dinner on Friday evening at a nearby restaurant
- a non-competitive Saturday rowing trip featuring both an eight-person sculling boat (8x+) and a historic gig boat (8x+ gig), each for approximately one hour.
Party
After the whole day of athletics performances like swimming, playing, hole-in-ones, cheering, and decorating winners with well-deserved medals, all celebrated it at the SPORT LOVERS party at the reopened Termix club (new address at Vinohradska 40). This year, we go Modern Electronic (Techno/House) style.
